Torres de Briz, S.C.L. is a cooperative formed by farmers and industrialists in the 80s.

Its main activity in these years has been the breeding of Iberian pigs in the meadows and their transformation for the sale of high-quality hams, shoulders, loins and sausages, protected by the Denomination of Origin "Dehesa de Extremadura", acorn-fed and free-range. or with controls from overseers of the company itself.

The acorn-fed pigs that Torres de Briz sells are raised and fattened on farms belonging to Torres de Briz partners or leased by them. In this way, the pigs are followed from their entry into the montanera until their slaughter, guaranteeing that the replaced acorn-fed arrobas are “truly acorn-fed”.

Such great requirements mean that the production of acorn-fed hams, shoulders and loins is necessarily short, Torres de Briz guarantees the quality of some 3,000 acorn-fed hams and as many shoulders and loins produced annually by its own.

The rest of the range that Torres de Briz manufactures are free-range Iberian pigs, raised in pastures, fed with pastures and natural feed and controlled just like acorn-fed pigs.

We have 20,000 hams of this type annually, and the same number of shoulders and loins.

As you can see, they are small and very controlled productions, to give a very high quality, at a competitive price, since by carrying out the entire production process (from the mother sows to the ham), with very little structure, we keep production costs adjusted.

At the sight of a ham, we tell you the origin and breed of the pig, arrobas replaced in the montanera, farms where it was, lived and fattened, age at slaughter, healing time, whatever you want, even if it was ugly or beautiful, male or female.
